I took Roger to BART this morning, but before we could leave we had to do an unusual thing. I gave Roger a card to scrape off the frost from my windshield. Now, I am no stranger to scraping windshields - I've lived in Utah for most of my life with a 3 year stint at BYU-Provo. However, scraping a windshield in the Bay Area? I haven't done that in my 6 1/2 years of parking on the streets of San Francisco. I checked my car's digital thermometer and it read 34 degrees for outside temperature here in Walnut Creek. We really need to finish clearing out the garage so I can park my car inside!
PS I did some backposting (and will continue to catch up in the next few weeks) if you are interested:
* Christmas Eve
* Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
* Ah the Moving Saga
* Last Day of Preschool
* Sciences with Evan and Miles
* Malissa & Kaden
That's crazy!!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Valinda Hillary! You don't know cold!! It was not all that cold here yesterday morning. I will admit there was some frost on my windshield, but it cleared up within minutes of turning my defroster on. Growing up in upstate NY where normal temps this time of year are in the negatives, I'm thankful every day for living here! And I spent a winter in Salt Lake & the cold there just doesn't compare to the cold in upstate NY!!!
ReplyDeleteHooray for backposting! I've missed you, but totally understandable with a house and what not. I hear you on the garage. Lane could not understand why I was so adamant about the garage being clear, but now he wishes we had smaller cars so we could fit two in there.
