Gubler Reunion - Day 1

We made it to Tetonia! It was so great to drive with Roger today. Or I guess I should say Roger drive with me! I love sitting in the passenger seat. We caravan-ed with my parents and grandma to Idaho Falls. My parents then dropped my Grandma Gretchen off with her sister Peggy and we met up with some of my siblings at the Idaho Falls Temple before a few of us went to Sam's Club to pick up the reunion food. Wow. That was a mouthful. Side note: I need to talk with the YW camp cooks to see how they are able to feed so many so well on such a tight budget.

But before we left, Roger said Adieu to his Alero. My Dad will be a great keeper of the car Roger has had for the past 9 years. We have many memories with this car and we are glad we can keep it in the family.

It was so fun to gather with my family tonight. We had a BBQ and talked around the campfire. Our reunion theme this year is "I Wanna Be With You." Almost all of my family was there – my brother’s wife and two children weren’t able to make it this year because my sister-in-law’s family was in town for her brother’s wedding the following week. We really missed them. It made me reflect how important it is for us all to be together forever because if even just a couple people are missing it isn't quite the same. I love my family!
